Toyota Tacoma | Full Skid Package | 3rd Gen | 2016-2023
A full skid plate package for the 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma. Crafted out of 1/4" 5052 aluminum or 3/16" steel.
Fitment
- Access to oil drain plug and oil filter without having to uninstall
- This shield is designed to fit Tacomas with a 4x4 drivetrain and V6 engine
- Ventilation holes to keep temperatures down around the transmission
- Mounts into preexisting holes from the factory
- Not compatible with lift kits that require subframe modifications (usually lifts greater than 3 inches)
- Compatible with a manual transmission
- In some instances, there may be a tab on a preexisting OEM/TRD skid plate that will need to be bent slightly to allow the transmission shield to slide into place. This does not impact the integrity of either shield
Included with purchase
- Engine, transmission skid/catalytic converter shield, and transfer case skid
- Zinc-coated button head Allen head hardware
- Optional add-on Purchase: Welded reinforcing ribs around transmission to add additional strength for off-road applications
Material
- Aluminum: CNC Laser Cut out of 1/4" 5052 Aluminum - Will not rust! All aluminum plates ship uncoated as bare metal, some cosmetic blemishes may be present on material upon arrival. Displays in pictures have been polished and finished
- Steel: CNC Laser Cut out of 3/16" steel coated in a black wrinkle finish.

The transfer case braces that mount to the frame rail will be made out of 10-gauge steel and will be powder coated in black

- Bolt in installation, no drilling required, can be performed by anyone with basic hand tools
